SS501 PERSONA BKKand just when things seemed so absolute and confirmed, changes were made.
on 20th december 2009, 0136h, i received the most unexpected news ever - SS501 Persona Bangkok is going to be postponed from 9th jan to 13th feb. so basically all the planning/booking for air tickets/hotel/concert tickets along with the anticipation for the upcoming concert disappeared almost instantaneously. (pearlx, you were still saying that i confirm will see them right? just look at the sudden change in the concert date! T__T)
surprisingly, i was
not angry when i received the news, but instead, i was
shocked. this is like so sudden and i was at all prepared? moreover, just an hour before i saw this news, i was still excitedly talking to stacey about the concert and what we should prepare for the boys before we head there. but an hour later, i received the confirmation of the concert being postponed? i really couldnt react at all and just stared at my laptop screen, typing "are you serious?". sihui said that though it's not officially announced by DSP, it is confirmed already! HAISH.
if i say i'm not at all disappointed with the news, who am i deceiving but myself? how can i not be disappointed when this was the main reason to why i went ahead with the internship? but oh well, i took this whole incident with a pinch of salt and
i guess i got over it pretty quickly? (like after 2h after i heard the news, i was okay le?) the main reason was most probaby due to the fact that even though i may not be able to witness the PERSONA ASIA TOUR personally this time around, i know very well that this will not be the boys' last concert. there will always be other opportunities in the future, so i shall just wait and maybe head to korea the next time around? =DD
anyway, i was discussing this whole incident with my mum and
she actually agreed to let me go ahead with 13th feb. this seriously was a pleasant surprise cause it was something i never expected my mum to say. (and she was the one who initiated the conversation about their persona concert, cause she saw the news clips of PERSONA HK on KBS.)
however, the issue on hand is that
13th is CNY's eve? grandma would NEVER agree to it even though i attempted convincing her that i would take the first flight back on 14th morning and will reach SG in time for 初一's lunch? and so,
conclusion is that i will not be witnessing PERSONA BKK. but for the fact that my mum actually allowed me to go despite it being halfway through the semester (okay, okay it is actually reading week, but still...) shows that she is gradually accepting me fangirling over celebs. (or maybe because this time around it involves leader? hmmm...)
anyway, BKK will be my sweet mini escapade before school starts! =P and and... tony moly is a MUST GO!! woohooo!! =DD meeting mel, the friendly thai TS will be part of our plans too!! so exciting even though we are not going for the concert? HAHAHAHAHA!! ^^
RESULTSand so, results for sem 1 was out on 22nd? i didnt even know until stacey told me? but im so so so so happy!!! cause
my CAP increased AGAIN!!! =DD and considering the amount of time i spent studying this sem (which is practically insignificant?), the results i obtained is like a MIRACLE?? imagine listening to music high, talking online till the wee hours of 3/4am, keeping up with updates of PERSONA BKK and watching LIVE STREAMING of programmes in which the boys appeared? with such a routine infused into my study schedule, what are the odds of faring well? HAHAHAHAHA!! i'm so so

and remember i was just mentioning in my previous post that SC2101 may end up having the best results? and TADA!! it really is la!! =DDD so so so happy!! now i really regretted not taking back my project and seeing what grade i got for it? and as expected, my worst was the MCQ paper? -____-"" totally
HATE MCQs la!! but oh well, it's a science module, so i didnt expect myself to ACE it in the first place? HAHAHAHAHHA!!

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER will be making a comeback next season! WOOOHOOOOOO!!! i cant contain my excitement, but im a tad disappointed that he is
not gonna stick to Ferrari, but moving on to Mercedes? but then, any idea who his team mate will be?? NICO ROSBERG!! ^^ im so so so looking forward to 2010's grandprix already? just look at the fantastic driver line-ups - Alonso/Massa, Button/Hamilton, Vettel/Webber - and now Schumacher/Rosberg. in addition, it will be a pure german team are the rebranding? it's like SO COOL la!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! thanks for the awesome sweet surprise for it really brightened my day! in addition, it's been so long since i last heard his voice. i kind of miss his 口頭禪 la (though he didnt even say it out! =P). i guess that's the sweetest christmas call that i've received thus far!!

i cant believe it is here already, like NOW!! i mean this is the circuit that i have been waiting for ALL SEASON!! practice one and two started and i was glued in front of the TV!! for once, i'm so glad dad subscribed cable thus i would not miss any of the practice session!!! =] practice one was SO SO only, cause results were like quite expected!!

anyway, i really hate the bumps in turn 18 that caused mark webber to smack into the water-filled barrier on the outside hard enough to inflict right-hand front suspension damage. he was the first to experience the 'danger' of the bumps during practice one!! subsequently, trulli, coulthard, sutil and piquet also became victims of the bumps!! and that was only for practice one!! -.- FIA should really do something about the bumps!! =/
at practice two, there was plenty of action/comedy also as many drivers explored the limit of grip [between tyres and the new circuit] and tried coping with the bumps[I HATE THEM]. Interesting things just happen since it's a new circuit for the drivers!! the most worthy of mention ought to be the classic moment of comedy when Massa got it wrong going into Turn 16 and headed down the escape road, where he appeared to become confused while trying to spin turn his Ferrari back on to the track. =P i was so worried for him la!! -.- to think that this is only DAY ONE!! =/

DAY TWO is so much more exciting!! every single damn moment is worth watching!! practice session three is like OMG, OMG!!
i guess the biggest HUHA in practice three ought to be with regards to fisichella!! he went/flew over the kerbs in turn 10 and hit the outside wall!! i simply hate turn 10's kerbs!! it's like no matter how also will hit de!! -.- they might as well just remove them and leave it as a smooth turn!! haish!!
and i wanted to bang the wall when i saw KIMI in practice three!!! he also hit that exact SAME KERB and lost control!! he didnt bang straight, but it ended as a retirement from that practice cause his car cant be restarted!! =[

the first singapore grandprix was really a roller coaster ride!! i guess no one would have expected this result yesterday!!
the WORST blow ought to be with massa!! he was leading in the i dunno how many laps, when piquet crashed and the safety car was out!! this was the start of his series of unfortunate events man!! his routine pit stop was HORRIBLE with the fuel nozzle stuck and the green light that was changed from red to indicate "GO!!" DAMN!! why must ferrari abolish the OLD LOLLIPOP SYSTEM and go all computerised!! in addition to his predicament, he was given a drive through penalty from causing danger in the pits or something!! CRAP!! the happiest man at that point just had to be HAMILTON!! ARGH!! =[
and trulli was another unlucky man!! he could have gained some points for the toyota team with his one stop strategy!! unknown to his was some i dunno what failure!! and he looked like he was going to faint any moment after he headed back to the pits!! =/
sutil crashed head on with the barricades when he tried to avoid massa, when massa lost control while turning into the area under the national day grandstand!! plain unlucky!! and the safety car was out for the second time!! =/
not all is that bad although both ferrari driver didnt make it for the points, resulting in a seven point lead by hamilton over massa in the drivers championship and mclaren a mere one point lead over ferrari in the constructors championships!! MORE IRRITATION!! the crash of piquet did lead to an advantage for alonso, when the safety car was out and the tragedy that happened in the ferrari pits!!
undeniably, alonso did prove to everyone that he was worthy to be the world champion of TWO SEASONS!! he was practically flying through the circuit!! =] moreover, the smile on his face was something that ive never seen the whole of this season!! the singapore grandprix did mark his 20th grandprix victory and his first victory of this season!! =]
i was also happy for rosberg of the williams team!! it was the best result for the team in three seasons!! and he did a really good job in keeping hamilton in 3rd!! or the driver's championship points would be pulled further apart!! =]
not forgetting the brilliant drive by vettel, glock and nakajima!! and i suppose this was nakajima's best result ever, adding on to the fact that in this race, williams is the only team whereby both of their drivers is in the top 8!! =] a great improvement by the william team i guess!!
much said, it was really an exciting race to mark the first night race in formula one history!! i still hope to be like THERE in person!! maybe next year??!! =P
and did i mention that i HATED the commentators on CH5, thus i was watching starsports the whole of the race since 630pm!! STEVE SLATOR and ALEX YOONG are just so much better!!

and yes, gillian and i queued for the ghost hospital!! and guess what!! we queued for 1.5h just to freak ourselves out!!! LOL!! but that was not the point!! HAHAHA!! we had the ghost to fan us!! because the queue at the back was really WARM!! =/
the ghost that was holding the board!! and OMG, there was a super real-life-looking hand in his pocket!!!
what i can say is that the whole ghost hospital was really very successful and the best one i've ever been to!! when we went in, we were asked to sit and hear a clip. the editting of the clip was really good and the voice was really attractive too!! =P
and then gillian and i finally went in!! it was a MISTAKE!!! when you least expect it, there will be a ghost SOMEWHERE to scare you!! especially that head in the table!! i thought it was made of paper, until i went close to it and her eyes OPENED!! 0.o OMG!!
and that surgery table in the middle of the maze!! the flesh part was so freaking real!! and out of no where, a hand just flew out on the floor!! and the ghost just crawled out!! i was SO SCARED that i would accidentally step on his hand can!! =/ and i said that i was sorry!! guess what was the reply!! "it's okay, dont worry!" and he smiled!! LIKE OMG!! and the ghost even lead us the way!! 0.o where in the word can you find such friendly ghosts other than JAPAN?!
the students are really very good!! with whatever limited resources they had, i'm really impressed!!! =]

there were live band performances in the hall too and one of the drummers was really good and cool!!! a different feeling from local bands!! =X
