OMG!! OMG!! OMG!!
i've seriously just had my most traumatic experience ever!!
i guess many may think that it was funny,
but at that point, i was at the point of not knowing how to react.
ok, so this was what happened.
i took 189 from kent ridge terminal and since it was from terminal to terminal,
direct to bukit batok interchange, i slept!!
(this is normal right?? -.-)
but this was the calm before the storm!! =X
when i woke up, i was ALREADY at the terminal!!
note that ALREADY was in caps,
which means that i did not just reach the terminal,
but the bus was ALREADY IN ITS PARKING LOT!!
so can you imagine my reaction when i woke up,
finding myself in this bus alone!!
(YES!! even the bus driver WAS NOT there!!!! >.<) the lights were out, the air-con was switched off!! the words SHOCKED and SCARED were simply understatements!!
i REALLY DIDNT know how to react!!
and all the buses that were being parked,
were also EMPTY!! (like DUH!!! =/)
and no one seemed to notice a FIGURE on the bus!!!
and so i was frantically calling people to SAVE me!! -.-
mum and dad didnt know how to react too!!!
and there were NO numbers on the bus that i could call to get help!!
i was thinking of pressing any random buttons to open the door of the bus,
but i thought it was rather risky cause i didnt know which one was the right one!!
and FINALLY, after i dunno how long,
one bus uncle saw me!!!
he was SUPER SHOCKED when he saved me!!!
when i stepped out of the bus,
i was really relieved!!
like come on la,
i could have really DIED on the bus if the bus was not needed for the rest of the day!!!
and the next time you see me,
it will be on the orbituary section of straits times!!
i'm serious here man,
cause at this point,
i still cannot believe what had just happened!!!
even while walking home,
i was trying to convince myself that things are OKAY now!! =/
and i finally understood why no one came to save me even though i banged the windows like a KAZILLION TIMES whenever a bus uncle walks pass!!
it's that time of the year thus they all thought i was a SPIRIT LINGERING ON THE BUS!!!
if that is the reason, i'm really going to KILL THEM!!!!
I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT I WAS STUCK ON THE BUS AND THE BUS UNCLE DIDNT SEE ME WHEN HE PARKED/LEFT THE BUS!!!
AND I WAS SITTING AT THE MIDDLE OF THE BUS, NOT AT THE END!!!
I WILL GIVE HIM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT THAT HE DIDNT SEE ME CAUSE MY HEAD WAS RATHER LOW!!
BUT THAT DOESNT SERVE AS AN EXCUSE!!! =/
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
AND TO THINK THAT I WAS STILL VERY HAPPY WHEN I LEFT NUS AFTER MY LAST LESSON!! D=

the decision to go for NATSUMATSURI was not a wrong choice!!
although it was raining, the atmosphere was really there!! =P
i was rather amazed by the huge turnout actually,
cause i didnt know that this event was conducted on such a large scale! =X
just look at how the place is filled with people walking around!
obviously not forgetting the food that was available there!! =P
for every summer festival in JAPAN,
the mask is a MUST!!
designs in terms of cat is normal,
but ULTRAMAN.... ?? =/
for your info, this is WILFRED!! hahah!!
obviously not forgetting the classrooms of this JAPANESE PRIMARY SCHOOL!!
anyway, did i mention how fascinated i was when i saw this!!??

even the way of opening is so FREAKING COOL!! =P
and what is attending a NATSUMATSURI without playing YO-YO?

it is undeniable that i've been sitting in front of the television the past few days,
just enjoying the glamorous world-record breaking moments of this year's OLYMPICS!!
[especially with regards to swimming and athletics =P]
as a result, i'm soooooooo glad to announce that MICHAEL PHELPS swam into history with his eighth and final gold this morning!!! =D
it was really a ground-breaking moment as dad and i sat in front of the television and cheered like there was no tomorrow!!!
it was also Phelps' 14th career Olympic gold, five more than any other athlete in Olympic history.
he also surpassed the record set by Mark Spitz in munich, 1972 for the most gold medals won at a single Olympic Games, which was 7!!
i can't even remember how many world records he broke just in this olympics,
but i was so glad that whenever he swam, i was there to support!! =P
he is like THE man!! =]
obviously not forgetting Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man ever.
he was like super relaxed, calm and cool before the race,
that he was even posing cute stunts for the camera!!
and guess what, the 21-year-old broke his own world record of 9.72 seconds, which he set in June this year, with a stunning world record time of 9.69 seconds.
and to think that it wasnt even his fastest!! -.-
9m before the finishing line, he was already SLOWING DOWN and smiling/waving to the audience!!!
OMG, it just simply meant that the world record could have been lower than the existing 9.72 seconds that he set if he were to just run on full gear till the end!! o.0
in addition, 100m wasnt even supposed to be his best!!!
USAIN BOLT was supposed to be a 200m specialist!!!
so it just goes to say that he have a high chance of obtaining a GOLD for the 200m too!! =]
the world's fastest man- USAIN BOLT!!
not forgetting that Singapore will be cinching at least a SILVER MEDAL tonight,
the first in 48 years!!! =]
so you should know where i will be at 730pm today!!!

i guess today is the best day of the whole week!! =D
(other than the fact that it is FRIDAY!!)
cause both the lectures that i've attended today are totally comprehensible!! =]
thats is all that matters actually!!
econs is totally a recap on market failure, comparative advantage, PPC, etc.
and i guess it's the easiest to understand lecture to date!! =]
as a result, i was wondering why i detest econs so much in JC,
when i'm beginning to like the contents now!! =P
SSA- SINGAPORE SOCIETY is like the MOST ENTERTAINING LECTURE so far!!
the lecturer was simply LAME, SUPER LAME!!! =P
he started of with " my aim today is to make 399 of the 400 students drop this MODULE... then the other 400 on the waiting list will DIE!!!" =/
then he said something which i felt strongly for!!
"i'm still in self-denial mode that it's still the holidays!!! "=[
he even tried to 'welcome' the SEP students with
"HELLO, A WARM WELCOME TO HELL... I MEAN SINGAPORE....!!" =X
at that point we were all in a laughing streak, until we saw what he flashed on the screen...

i was in a 0.o and OMG state!!
then he said it was a typo error!!! -.-
it was supposed to be 10%!!! =/
i really wanted to faint cause this prof is totally unpredictable!!! >.<
"you guys can go to the IVLE web to download the lesson plan. by the way, what does IVLE stand for?? it doesn't matter, cause I DON'T CARE!!!(then he rolled his eyes!)" =S
and then he went about talking on sociological imagination and out came his aim for today!!
"cheem or not?? ..... DROOOOOOOOP!!!" -.-
and there were similar statements like,
"this is part of my strategy..... DROOOOOOOOOP!!!" =S
then he was talking about some article on the straits times.
[SPEAK UP, THARMAN TELLS YOUTHS...]
and suddenly, out of no where, a classic line came out!!!
"but he is not deaf... ok, i must change my jokes now!!"
you guys get his idea??
OMG, at that time i really just gave a 0.o expression!!
he is so freaking LAME man!!!
and just when i'm getting in the mood to understand his way of thinking,
he gave us a shock with "i'll continue next week, BYE!"
and we still had one hour of lecture time left!! -.-
i'm sure i will enjoy this lecture LOADS!! =P
i just received an email from radiopulze saying that i'm in already!
but what i'm gonna specialize in have not been decided yet!!
so i'll just see how things turn out tomorrow at the tea-session then!! =]
many news came as a shock to me, for example the rumour that has been flying around that MFBBT is going to stop and there will be a new selection for the new and revitalised batch. the existing and present batch will be graduating and not appear on the programme anymore!! i seriously hope that this is not true!!! =[
the results of erjun came to me as another blow!! =/ i mean like it was so sudden and they changed from the original 5 to the present 7. i felt that it was rather unfair for the 3 who were eliminated!! =[ since the result is out, no point fretting over it now!! but it's just... haish!! =[

had jap studies lecture today and i thought it was pretty okay!!
content wise, it was more interesting than the previous two lectures i've had! =]
(other than the fact that i spent 3/4 hours reading the THREE PDF FILES in the workbin last night!! -.-"")
maybe it's something i'm so interested in thats why!! =P
and i'm like drawing non-stop during the lecture!!
now i know why there are so many empty spaces on the notes already!!
the spaces were supposed to be PHOTOGRAPHS!! -.-""
as a result, i kept drawing out the photographs!!
and truth be told, i'm pretty proud of what i've drawed!! =D
the lecturer is so freaking cool too
and i'm so glad i found one lecture that really interests me!! =]
that aside, i'm also super happy to meet my buddies today!!
it's like one week since i last saw them!!

there was like so much to catch up,
but so little time left!! >.<
in addition, i was like psycho-ing everybody to go to the JAP SUMMER FESTIVAL!!
the person at the booth seems to know me also!!! =X
it was totally unintentional, but he like so kelian,
do not even have time for lunch, so.... =P
but i promised my OG people that after the summer festival,
i will go and meet up you guys for the ARTS BASH/supper ok?? =]
then i went for my RADIO interview!! >.<
it's meeting long lost friends like koh shing and saras that kept me so hyped up!! =P
the interview with 5 seniors was super funny cause they just kept laughing!! =/
and they were indecisive to put me into which division cause i, myself didnt know where to go!! -.-
but i do trust their decision, so lets just see how things turn up!!
then we had to test our voice!!
i guess i just cant do live DJ-ing!!
the silence in the booth is sooooo deafening!! >.<
(and what month is this now?? =X)
and i doubt i can make it through melvic,
cause i was practically talking nonsense!!
however, if they really decide to put me to the challenge,
i guess i will need plenty of time learning how to control the system!! =X
(but the possibility will be 0.00001% as i think i did quite badly in the booth just now!! -.-)
on a lighter note, must thank pearlx for helping me get the QIUSHENGYI mags!! =]
though she claims that i owe her ONE MILLION now!! =[

day two as a uni student!! =]
*still in self-denial mode*
and the only lesson i had today was sociology lecture.
truth be told, most of the time i simply had the 0.o face!! =/
i just felt that i was surrounded by alien language when the prof was explaining the terms!
but as what IVAN and ZHIMIN always tell us,
"WHEN UNSURE, ACT CONFIDENT!!!"
thats totally what i did and it WORKED!! =P
i guess it's simply time to head to the central library and borrow that SOCIOLOGY DICTIONARY!!
actually, it's not that i do not understand,
it's just that the more i think about an issue/term,
the more confused i get!!! =X
this is what happens when your brain is rusty for 8 MONTHS!! =X
i know i've told many people about this before,
but i cant help but blog about it!! =P
despite having an ahbeng appearance,
ivan's style of blogging really awed me!!
it's like someone penning in place of him.
i seriously respect him loads now!! =]

i simply love the feeling of walking all around FASS and saying 'HI' to every other person!!
i guess this is why i never regretted going for o-week!! =]

and that includes just talking to any random people who sits beside you during lecture, even though he's/she's not from your house! -.-

BACK TO SCHOOL_

first day as an official university student attending school at NUS!!
honestly, it simply felt weird, cause at the end of the day,
it had been nearly 8 months since i last touched a set of notes!! =/
in short, i still cannot accept the fact that i'm already a uni student now!!! >.<
and guess what my first lecture was?!
ENGLISH!!!
unbelievable? believe it!! =P
and for most of the lecture, i was having either a 'o.0' or 'HUH?!!' expression!! =/
what do you mean by language??
what exactly does language do??
but overall, it's actually quite interesting!! =]
happily, i accompanied lixin and sherry to watch 钱不够用2 at vivo!!
the underlying meaning of family ties is so strong that i cried!!
i really dunno how to explain that feeling,
but it will really make one ponder on many matters. >.<
i guess it's really time for me to reflect on my actions now!! =X
in addition, i felt even more when i received an sms from sherm,
halfway through the movie that mr lawrence koh's dad passed away this morn.
i was really at a loss of words that i didnt really know how to react.
haish... i really do not like to attend funerals cause i would feel rather emo,
but i still went in the end with chianlim, sherm, kusumo, chendi and francis.
heartfelt condolesces to mr koh and family!!
i dont know why, but for the whole day,
i kept seeing ahbeng like everywhere!! 0.o
be it at every other corner of the school or at vivo!!
lixin calls it fate, but i find it quite spooky actually!! >.<
oh!! i wanted to like blog about o-week,
but i guess i shall procrastinate AGAIN and blog this weekend!!
